Unhappy imageready help

i hav created a documents which has animation on and i would like to save it as a gif.

but when i save it as an gif it saves it as 4 or 5 different files.

i want it to save as a one file GIF plz help em a.s.a.p

Go to Window > Optimize. Make sure Format is set to GIF. Then choose File > Save Optimized As.

its set to gif dithered what ever that means.

it is saving it a multiple files, which is all little different bits of the picutre. please help me.
