i HATE when people do that. eikon did it again today... almost. After inspecting the gazhillion photos he/she submitted today turned out to be a bit different after all, but still.

although I suspect that it won't have much effect. eikon doesn't seem to be what you'd call an active member - apart from the occasional flurry of (very similar) photos, he has never posted in the Forums or commented on anything in the Gallery.

And I also think that eikon is NEVER active, except for posting a long list of photo's *Smashing his mouse into the same wall*

I do think we should stop people like this by giving them somekind of warning and then stop give them acces to the gallery for a periode of time(a life sentence would not work i think)

Well, I could remove most of the very similar images - just leave one example of each? I don't want to stifle anyone's creativity but I think that if you are posting to a site like BioRUST you need to have a bit of consideration for other members. After all, there are plenty of sites like Imagebucket and Flickr that you can use if you want to post a huge number of images online.

i'm just going to assume that he's using biorust as his photo gallery, much like flikr or deviant art...

anyways it's annoying to see a million of 1 persons stuff all at once...I wonder if there's a way to allow that many uploads, but to only display 1 image from a person per day...in the front page.

Obvisiously, i'm not knowledgable in web site stuff, but could there be a seperate place for all submissions to be held until they are "approved". Something like an ftp site where images can be held, quickly viewed for duplicates, quanity, appropriate viewing etc. There hasn't been a huge amount of submissions of late. Could this be done and a daily basis?

This is a pretty good idea on the face of it, but I'm not sure how it would work in practice, unless Man1c M0g has a bunch of elves working for him that he could put on "image quality control" duty. Unfortunately, as far as I know, BioRUST is a part-time concern for everyone and a job like that would demand a large chunk of anyone's time. I know M0g has also attempted to impose a maximum limit on image uploading, but it doesn't seem to be working.
