Ideas for new Biorust Favicon

Right,

So I'm going to take a crack at making a new favicon for Biorust.
However I'm not too great at coming up with ideas for these things(especially when they're very small). That's where the rest of the community comes in. I need people to post a few ideas in this thread for the new favicon.
I'll make sure you get credit for the initial idea if it gets on the site.

I'll also be trying to come up with some concepts over the weekend(however I'll be away during that time and probably won't be able to check the forum)

Have you tried the Biorust "logo" flower? or how about just characters B and R displayed in some nice way? It would be nice if it would be somehow related to Biorust and not just some abstract.

Yeah it's meant to be related to Biorust(I'll try to use the same kind of colour scheme too). The flower logo was the first thing that came to mind. But I thought it'd be better to have something that isn't just the same logo.

I prefer the Biorust logo flower, but what about the circles from the background.

I kinda like the idea of the flower myself. I will be changing the flower throughout the version of the design to suit my whims, but the flower logo will always remain in some form, so its a good suggestion! I'd avoid doing something based on the background though - I change that every season, and its due for a change real soon!

Like most people suggested the flower would be nice or BR in fancy text but once again the flower would be a better idea.

Well I'm back.

It looks like people want the good ol' Biorust flower so I guess I'll try the flower first.
I need a bit of information before I can start though.
First of all I need to know what resolution the image needs to be(I'm guessing it's 16x16). I also need to know if it requires web safe colours(I'm just making sure).
And would people like a new colour(most likely some kind of blue) or the same as the current one?
I'll get to work on it after school tomorrow. But right now I need to go and get some sleep. It's bad enough that I'm always tired(especially at school... and even more in algebra) but it's even worse when I've had a kind of busy weekend.

Making favicons is quite complex. We have a tutorial on the topic, but if you want to bypass Photoshop altogether, there's other resources (including online Java-based editors), linked over @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon

I think I'd prefer to do it in Photoshop. I'll take a look at the tutorial now.
