Suggestion

A couple of days ago when I saw a new brush pack that I wanted to download on the index page of biorust.com, I clicked the link, but for some reason, it went to an error page.

I then realized that I wasnt logged in, but the point of this is not to point out my stupidity, but to suggest a page that says something like "You must be logged in to do that" or something of that sort whenever you try to do something only registered members can do (for example....download brushes, custom shapes, etc.)

Thatd be sweet.

Errrr... but there *IS* a massive message at the top of every page (and on the index) telling you that you have to be a member! At least there is for every browser i've tried. Maybe I've missed a page or something. Can you tell me where you were browsing, and with what browser? It'd be muchly appreciated!

Well, it does say that it could be because youre not logged in, but i logged out again and looked to see if i could reproduce the results i got last time, and i got the same.

It just directed me to http://biorust.com/index.php?page=suberror

Its just a generic error page, and i posted because I didnt really read the print at the bottom, just the huge exclamation point and the words "User-Borne Error"

The print at the bottom does say that if i clicked a link to get here that it means i have to be a registered member (and logged in), but I think it would be better for it to simply say "You Must be Logged In to do that!" or something of that sort for things that you have to be logged in to do.

I figure most people (like me) will not pay attention enough to notice the print at the bottom. And yes it does say "File downloads are member-only features. Click here to register." right above the file download links, but I never noticed that until you mentioned it in your post.

AHA! You've found an error! I revamped that page earlier this week, but it seems that I forgot to block off the downloads for un-registered and un-authenticated users! A quick coding session later, though, and its all fixed. Many thanks for pointing that one out... here, have a... errrr.... can of spam!
