Gosh darn. I guess I missed the deadline for entry. I can't seem to find the battle I liked. If not enough people enter, is the battle cancelled? Can it be reopened?

That'll teach me to work instead of play. heh.

Looks like I have a picture to post to the gallery since I can't find the Abstract battle. I'll wait a day just in case I find the battle hiding somewhere.

Well, the battle can disapear for a few reasons(correct me if I'm wrong)
1.al the places are filled up, no one can enter anymore so it disapears
2.there were no entry's for it so it was cancelled
3.an mod deleted the battle because some reason unknown to me
4.....you're in desperate need of glasses:P

I think you will have to restart the battle(just make a new one) but you have to consider that there won't be much people entering it, because they already entered the first on.......so you have to make an original battle with the same theme? or somethin alike.

Yup! All that's really changed is that there is no 'joining phase' now - so you don't have to wait to get your picture uploaded.

Newly created battles now go straight to the second stage (i.e. they start accepting submissions right away)

I think I'm confused by the term 'second stage.' Are battles created and open to submissions at the same time? The it remain open for submissions for two weeks or something. After the time has passed it either goes to voting or is cancelled, correct?

One more question...can I enter any contest or must I wait for beginner/open entries?

the first questions, i'm not completely sure.
If I understand the battle system at the time, you have to upload your submission right away.So now phase of entering an battle without entering your submision. Then after lets say 2 weeks or so, the voting starts.

What do you mean by beginner/ open entry's?
