Trouble posting to Battle

I keep getting an error when trying to send my battle entry. It says the web site is experiencing difficulties but I see others are able to post so it must be me. The battle said to be 1024 by 768 pixels which it is but it is at 300 DPI. If I try to put it at 150 DPI the pixel numbers are to low. What do I do? One of these days I will start to understand the size, pixel, blah blah blah information that is so important to actually doing computer art. LOL. Thanks, Nanc

I think you should upload it in .jpg, the format of the image(300dpi, 1024x768) shouldn't really matter. So try it again as a .jpg and if that doesn't work try to upload it from a different PC maybe it will work then.

You can't upload PSD files - that's why you're getting an error. As unleash says, you need to convert your file to JPG and upload that. The resolution (dots per inch/pixels per inch) is pretty much irrelevant when it comes to web images. I just made it jpeg and no problem loading. It even says it right under where you load it. like I said.. Duhhhhhh. Thanks. Nanc
