size question

I'd like to try my hand at a beginner battle. I'm not quite sure which one. I was wondering if there are there file size guidelines other than the battle specific rules?

I looked in the general battle faq, but didn't notice specs. I should probably take some time to explore the site for the answer. It's just that I'm kinda excited and wanted to start working on an entry.

I'll poke around a bit and see if I can't answer my own question.

See ya on the battlefield. . .hopefully.

Nope - no size restrictions! That doesn't mean, of course, that you don't have to worry about filesizes. An entry that takes a millenia to load may not get many votes.

sorry to deviate from the question some, but imagine if something actually took that long to load? and even more baffling, imagine some family lineage patient enough to allow it to take that long 0.o

Thanks. I think I'll just stick with what I've seen on some photography sites: nothing over 800x600. Easy to load and big enough for a good look. Sound okay? Shiny.
