Ok... major snafu. Restored everything from backup - no content is lost. Now i just have to get everything working again!

UPDATE: All is working now except for the wiki and irc facilities... both of which i'm hoping to ditch soon anyway. Working to squash final bugs with the server memory allocations, but its looking good!

that had to be a major bug eating away the hardware....!

The server automatically upgraded itself to Centos 5.3 and the whole thing went to hell in a handbasket. Still getting quite a few issues. I'll call them 'teething problems'. I'l keeping a close eye on the system - let me know about bugs as they appear.

PS. Oh, and yes I know about the downtime over the last 2hrs. Fixed that too.

Hmmm... I dunno about 2 hours ago, the entire forum vanished last night! On remaining bugs, you can now post, but you can't edit a post. But you probably already realise that...

WIERD ASS ERROR TIME! It only shows in IE (Opera doesn't report any errors), and its only an error present in the forums pages. WTF is up with that? This is gonna take some sorting...

PS. Sorted the segmentation fault at least. Not seen an 'internal server error' for a while now...

UPDATE: Ok, sorted the editing issue *AND* the stack overflows. Seems that when I upgraded VBSEO a couple of days ago the files decided they were binary and not ASCII. As you can guess, PHP files don't like being binary. LOL!

Okay, got this strange bug when I clicked on a thread link.

I was at the main forum page, and I clicked on the displayed (updated) thread. Than the site started to leg... nothing happend, so I hit the refresh button once. This is what I got:

"Can't create a new thread (errno 12); if you are not out of available memory, you can consult the manual for a possible OS-dependent bug"

And Im sure there is nothing wrong with my memory, or with my OS.

After a few minutes, I tried to do exactly the same thing again... and everything worked as it should work... so im not sure what caused this, but since this could be part of your main bug, I thought lets post it up and see if it can be squashed :P

Yeah, its part of the overall issue. I'm putting lots of time into this and it *WILL* get sorted. My brain hurts a lot now tho...
