Premium Subscribers System

After much hard work, the premium subscribers system is now online! You can find further details over on the members page . If you have any problems with the implementation or find any bugs please report them here and I'll mend them right away!

I love the move to the new system. It will eliminate a lot of the random posts and image submissions to gain more downloads.

I am pretty strapped for cash right now myself, but I hope to be able to contribute in the future towards a premium membership.

Not that I use those 5 downloads a day.... ah well who cares! When I have found a way to pay (money and way to get it over) I will go premium.

Glad you like it! I'll be working on extra features for premium subscribers soon... hopefully to replace the 'irc chat' and 'wiki' pages. Do you think there would be much interest in a Classifieds section and/or a Commissions section?

if you were to impliment a classifieds section, it should be heavily moderated. even if open for posting by premium members only. otherwise it will get out of hand with shoes and phones.
but perhaps a small classifieds section would be nice for selling cameras, equipment, and the like.

Well, I was thinking of a section for use by members only. It would be heavily monitored, and eventually feature cheaper rates for premium members, etc... or at least that'd be the idea!

I'm really liking this system much better. I agree with Stiney that it will help cut down on random posts.

hmm, maybe you should point out more clearly that there are the subscirbers and the "non-subscribers". With somekind of an image thing.... like an red bar that says biorusteer, for those who subscribe?

About the random post, indeed as said I totally agree! I don't think there is much interest in a shop... as there are not that many regulars. And when they own everything...well than the shop rates will drop (that what I think will happen).

Thats an easy enough templates adjustment! I'll get around to it soonish... as soon as I have a brainstorm on making it look nice.

Its already in the side menu on the main site. I might also integrate the battles system whilst i'm at it.

Sheesh, i'm all busy this week! I need a week off my dayjob to get around to all this foo!

Ooops. Manually corrected that for the mods. It was all a matter of which username profiling takes precedence. Should be mended now... I hope!

No idea where that's gone. Its also been identified by SuperTackyMan. I'll add it to my list of things to find/fix. Its getting to be a long list!

Currently working on getting PDF output sorted. I'll get onto that afterwards though!
