For what it's worth, I uploaded another couple of photos this morning and again I had no problems at all.

thats worth a-lot. from a diagnostic viewpoint.
I managed to upload today but only by taking and cutting the pic into thirds.
I had wanted my birds to be in one frame but thats ok.
the 3 pics combined into one pic were 1.6 MB
individually they were about .5 MB
so, just so you know manic. thats whats going on here.
focus on your move. reallly.
I will get by,
I will get by,
I will get by,
I will survive.

Not sure if this helps at all , but I noticed that as long as the pics resolution size is 2000px or below , then there's no prob wth uploading ?? Not sure if that has affected anyone else ??

perhaps that was my problem then. the birds were all supposed to be in one pic, so that would have made it kind of wide.

I hate to say this, but I am afraid that the system isn't completely up and running...

I got an error message when I tried to reply to the introduction forum (treygers one http://forums.biorust.com/introducti...html#post50051 (i suppose introductions are in order ...)

It said that there was a problem with the database, and that I should try again later...(what I did 3 times) the third time it finally posted.....

this could also be me, but I think not...im running on firefox on a 8Mbit connection....so I don't have a low speed(which sometimes gives that result), and Im not using IE.

Still no problems here. I'm also using Firefox (on a 10mb broadband connection).

Posting Resources

I may have a little question to ask ;
( not a critic , just a question ) .

I have noticed no new resources at all have been accepted for the past four months .

And , as I know there were some important problems with the site at a moment …

Maybe some files were lost …

Should we re-upload them or should we just wait and see …

( I uploaded 3 sets of patterns on March 7th 2008 )

Thank you for all your excellent work .
I know it has been hard lately .

Cheers ,
fmr

Hi fmr,
I asked Man1c M0g the exact same question a couple of weeks ago, as I too had uploaded some resources just before the server crash.

He replied that he's been busy moving house, but he will get round to processing them soon. As far as I know there is no need to re-upload them at the moment.

Thanks Tamlin , for answering so quickly .

I knew I was not the only one ....
All of us , We shall wait , then .
I feel better now that I know the reason .

I also have new patterns and layer styles .
I think I 'd better post them only after the first batch is accepted .

Cheers ,
fmr
