... And Another One!

You didn't think we were done releasing tutorials did you? Here's another tutorial to make you more knowledgeable about Photoshop.

Energy Nova by Joe
Difficulty: Novice
Sometimes a single effect can produce production-quality graphics all by itself. The aim of this tutorial is to show you a remarkably simple way of creating energy swirls using a single technique, and then extrapolate the method to create a visually stunning masterpiece.

I was thinking I might put together an advanced tutorial on making brushes.. I get throughly fed-up of the constant stream of uninventive and relativley useless images people simple load, fade the edges(and not even that sometimes) and then click Define Brush to make..
What you think? I'd have to do a little bit on making good patterns in there too as people fall into traps of making KP's (Kelidoscope Patterns) and it sends me loopy.

It depends where you're getting your brushes from. I know the ones on BioRUST's downloads section are really nice. I've used a few of them myself.

However, I think a tutorial would be very nice. Not many people know how to make their own brushes, they'd rather download them from someone where else.

All tuts are good tuts? Anyhow, I like the idea. Brushes is something most people don't have any clue on how to do. I don't like them, but that's just personal opinion, as I know they can be great

OOOOh, a brushes tutorial would be very nice! Not many people know how to make decent brushes, and they ARE supremely useful!

I shall do a tutorial on that soon then I make brushes all the time and I'd say I'm 'advanced' in using them and such so I thought I'd do my bit for the site
