Battle System Update

Hello everyone,

The battle system has just been updated to a new version and I thought I'd fill you in on the newly implemented features:

• Added the ability to add a short description when submitting an entry (in addition to its title)
• Commenting on archived entries is now allowed
• All users are allowed to create a predefined amount of battles (currently 12) that they do not join (administrators are still exempt from all checks)
• All wins merged into a single field / simplified rankings
• Voting period can be altered at battle creation time (1-2-3 weeks)
• Newly created battles now go straight to the second stage (i.e. they start accepting submissions right away)
• When entering a battle, users are given the choice to either submit right away, or to reserve a 48-hour slot within which they can submit without penalty (limit of a single reservation per user at any given time)
• Updated overview pages that fit the new battle algorithm

Let me know if you experience anything weird, unusual or that does not look right. It's most likely something that I overlooked and that I need to fix.

i think these rules will help get more people to join the battles,All users are allowed to create a predefined amount of battles without them needed to join
the battle will increase the number of battle ideas and increase the number of people that will join,i think this will really kick start the battles "well i think so anyway,"

well,.. at first i have to say that I'm happy about the update, but there is one thing i really miss: "The Archive"

In the past i could see all my archived participations in the overview of the battle system. Now with the new system i have to search for all my past battles in each section (FFA; One-on-One..)
It was really nice to have all your battles listed. Did that happen on purpose, and please why?
