Here are a few sites that might interest you. Even if you don't want to get into colour management there are downloads for you to check that your printer is printing the correct colours.

As someone who does a lot of printing, I recognise the importance of getting colour management right. For one thing, photo paper and printer inks are bloody expensive, so you want to minimize wasting them by printing out an image that looks great on your screen but crap when it prints out. I think I've got my setup just about right now, but it was a long hard slog with lots of trial and error. Maybe if I'd known about these links back then, it could have saved me some time and effort.

So anyway, I'm going to use my newly-appointed status as News Editor to promote this thread to the Front Page. Good work Tony.

Actually I have found after doing all the test printing the good ICC profile of Adobe RGB worked the best.

Yes, that's what I use. Apparently it's the best for printed stuff.
