Fix: New posts/No new posts
Due to all the upgrades and modifications here at BioRUST, your cookies may be handling wrong causing icons not to show up as new posts when they are indeed unread, as well as the new posts page always responding with nothing.
To fix this problem, you will need to logout of the BioRUST forums, once it says all cookies cleared, log back in and it you should be fully functional.
Note: When using Opera you may need to manually force opera to remove the biorust cookies, as it doesn't respond to vBulletin's tries very well.
Regards,
Yuneek

Fire fox should only require a log out and login. I am on FireFox 0.8 and thats all it took for me.

The funny thing is.. I can't even log out. If I press the logout button it says that I'm logged out and all the cookies are cleared, my name still shows up as if I'm logged in.

The cookie problem is back for me. Its an intermittent problem and is documented in Vbulletin.com's bugtracking forums. I'll see if I can find a more permanent solution (or just reinstall all the scripts - that'll work a charm too, hopefully....).
PS. Marlboroman - Try manually deleting the cookie from your cache whilst all your browser windows are closed. Works every time...

Yes, it has returned for me as well. If you need help with the fixes or script reinstalls, let me know. I'm like a vB3 guru.

m0g. vB 3.0.1 is out! An upgrade will likely fix the problems.

Oddly enough, the problem seems to have resolved itself. Still, i'll upgrade to v3.0.1 soon and see if that eliminates the intermittent problem altogether...

Ok, I may have it fixed now. Do the usual trick of logging out totally and then logging back in. Tell me if it solves the problem for you (does the trick for me!).

Nope. It's not working (And I tried on my new system that had 0 cookies from BioRUST and I still have the problem.) Why don't you try upgrading to 3.0.1?

I'll be doing that tomorrow (thursday). Until then it looks like its an albinator bug. I've installed a patch called 'VB3 Gold Cookie-fix' into albinator. Its got no readme file with it, though, so i'm just hoping its gonna hit the right spot...
