Adobe.com Facelift!

Well, it barely classifies as news, but Adobe.com has been given a brand new design, complete with new twizzly bits... even though it *still* tries to present you with so much information at one time that it boggles the mind. Oh, and it has a slight 'Macromedia-style' feel to it too! Check it out and see what I mean!

i think they need to check the site out in mac cause all their information is all underneath each other n it looks terriable cause you have to scroll all the way down the bottom

anyother mac users have that problem????

Actually I think it is the macromedia.com site they've used there. If you check the code there are parts like this

You may not have everything you need to view certain sections of Macromedia.com

Well...same company so I guess they liked more macromedia's site than their own since they changed their own instead of changing macromedia's

So where does this take us? Clear conspiracy! The actual bill gates died two years ago but since he was so strong figurehead for Microsoft they replaced him with Erik and now Adobe blew their cover...

yeap i have the same problem with the adobe page and it kinda slow down the activity of the safari when it starts to load

The slowdown would be the Flash object which they should knock on the head... but then again it's Adobe so what's the chance of that? ;-)

The page is clear and readable. Obviously a lot of thought went into what items to display on the home page and how to prioritise them.

The only thing is, it does look quite boring for a purveyer of design software.
