No Photoshop tutorials this weekend, but
Shreedhan has stepped up to the podium to give us a theory-based tutorial on
Designing User-Friendly Forms. It describes key principles for effective design of user-friendly data entry forms. Most of these are very simple, but it is often the simple things that we overlook. No specific programming language is used for any of the suggestions given, so you should be able to relate the information to almost any programming language.
In other news, I have finalized a complete overhaul of the
BioRUST advertising system. If you are interested, you can now advertise directly on BioRUST, using either run-of-site or directly targetted adverts. The rates are at a special introductory price too, so head on over to the
media kit and take a peek. Incidentally, I am also considering allowing users to exchange biocredits for CPM/CPC-based adverts on unsold inventory... so you could even see your own site advertised! I am just at the stage of considering the rates - opinions on this subject are, of course, highly valued and encouraged!
