Hmm. I could not disagree more.
First, we do not discriminate anyone over the amount of credits they have. Whether you have 1 post or 200, you are treated just the same. Increasing your credit amount depends only on yourself. You are under no pressure to do so. It's purely a personal 'goal' you can set for yourself, to try and achieve. Thus, the credit system merely becomes an impetus for making acquaintances and being productive on the forums. Is that so wrong?

Secondly, your insinuations regarding it being a 'waste of time'. I don't see what difference having a credit system could possibly effect as far as time is concerned, since it's completely automated. I doubt you would even have been aware of the system if not for all the posts regarding it.

Thirdly, regarding the requirement of a credit debit to use a resource: After all, making quality resources is not an easy job. Our users have spent time and energy in developing those, and have uploaded them to the free domain out of the goodness of their hearts. Is it too much to ask for some appreciation in such a case?

Fourthly, the credit system is already in place, in entireity. I'm most certain that it would take quite some effort to de-implement the system again.

In sum, I think you should be happy with the stuff you have got and not gripe too much about.

Heruka speaks the truth, thanks to the time and effort exerted by other members Biorust has quality resources; downloads, tutorials. I can not speak for any other member, but I do know that the time I put forth into writing tutorials or securing quality downloads is not inconsequential. I do it because I want this site to grow, flourish, and be known as one of quality. Without the credit system in place the site would just be a mere retrieval point for many members. The Biorust credit system is one of the best on the net and definitely fair and even handed.

Making a few posts to assist other members is a very small 'fee' for me to pay and I will gladly continue to do so.

Hats off to Heruka for being so outspoken!!!

Click the HOME button, at the top of the page and look to the right for the box with your name in it. Just above the first line you should see your remaining credits.

Just click to visit the website. This will load up the website with a voting bar at the top of your browser window. You can vote there, move to the next site in the series, vote again, etc. No brain needed!

Cool OMG, get some respect!

I say the credit system kicks a$$ and a great idea should be applauded not argued against becauses lazy bums want quality graphics for nothing! Grow up, spend some time learning from the people here on how to improve your stuff by posting it and dealing with constuctive criticisim instead of just coming here to rip off other peoples hard work! There are many resources in here that people could make good $'s from... would you rather pay for the download or just say hey I think your stuff is kewl and I am glad you provide it on this site for me for free and then downlaod it for the cost of that 20 seconds of your time! Don't forget, websites like these take hardworking individuals and a nice amount of money to start and maintain. This is a great way to sift out the lazy thiefs and the casual downloaders from the wonderfull people that make this site work & cut down on the bandwidth usage and cost of keeping this site maintained as well! Great thinking Boss man!!!
