Xara Xtreme has now been released, offering a pretty nifty set of raster and vector tools for a low low price of $75 American. Oddly enough, Xara are also announcing plans to make the entire application available as open source, and port it to the Mac and Linux operating systems. Will this mean an eventual price reduction for Adobe stuff? Only time will tell!
