Finally... A Custom Skin!

As you have probably noticed, i've added a nice new custom skin to the forums. Its a little plain at the moment, but give me time and i'll spruce it up lots. The header is the first thing to get the revamp treatment, so keep your eyes up there (its hard to miss anyway...

).

Update: Loadsa tweaks added today, including a brank-spanking new header, hue shifted post icons, and numerous bug fixes. Tell me whatcha think...

All I can say is WOW!

When I first came here it had the default purple skin...
Then the ambience skin...
Now the modified skin.

I can tell your working REALLY hard to make your forums a success. Keep going, it'll pay off.

Heee, thanks m8! Do ya have any suggestions for future additions? I think its all pretty much sorted now - a few animated smilees would be cool, but apart from that and making sure the e-mailing system is mended, I'm flush outta ideas...

To make your site even cooler than it is now, make the main page design match with the forum. That would be sweet.

Some nice suggestions - thanks guys! The new Biorust design will not be identical to the forums (just to prevent designs becoming obsolete across subdomains, etc), but they will look similar. I was actually thinking of a spacey/alien theme, with a bryce style background (that automatically becomes a simple tiling one if the server detects a slower modem connection).

Oh, btw, Subject2Failure - what do you mean by a quick reply button? If you can show me an example, i'm pretty sure I could add one rather swiftly...

That's from Invision Board 2.0, but I'm almost positive you can do the same with vBulletin.

Hmmmm. OK, i'll take a look at the Invision board and see if I can create something similar in functionality (hopefully it wont require massive re-coding, in which case you'll be out of luck). You can delete that image off your server now, BTW.....
