I'm baaaaaaaaack! My holiday in the UK/Germany was worth every penny, and I loads of fun at
Eurofurence 11. Apart from winning several high-quality artworks at the art auction, I was also fortunate enough to attend a few workshops presented by the respected 2D/3D artist,
Timothy Albee, who seems to have re-ignited my interest in drawing once again. Soooo, keep your eyes peeled for lots of my mediocre artwork coming your way soon! *J/K* :P
On a less personal note, I have also brought back some goodies for you guys/gals! From one of our newest members,
Jimmy1012, comes a beginner-level tutorial on
Simple Painterly Effects. Don't be fooled by the title though - this simple technique yields results just as good as comparable tutorials, but in under one minute! And for the gallic ones amongst you,
Bana has translated the
LCD Interfaces,
Screws & Rivets, and
Gradient Bars tutorials into French. Vive la Bana! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to unpack properly. Catch you all later!
