btw, this image is vector so it is not a bitmpa, that might be the thing you are trying to achieve.

Yea sorry i didnt make it clear! click on the link, you see the pic of the cartoon woman, thats called 'line phunk' (i think!!).

How do they do it?

Ive tried getting rid of contrast, filling bits in, but they look ****!!

Any ideas?

It DEFINATELY looks like illustrator to me m8.

That's what i thought, but how? Is there a filter/plugin for it or is just lots of work?

nope, there is a special type of graphic design called vector. It is not a bitmpa format thus meaning it can be resized to any size and it will not loose quality. You need a program like illustrator or freehand. I prefer freehand since it comes free with flash mx.

Ive got illustrator and i can get a copy of freehand, but how can i do it from there? I havent really played with illu, i donno what i can do really! Ill have a play and see what i can do! cheers for help!

Well, with a little luck I should have a few Illustrator tutorials for Biorust available soon (think 1-2 weeks). If you can't wait that long, Pixel2Life has a Illustrator section available... although the tutorials available are rather simple.
