There is so many topics starting about this tutorial I think it needs its own forum.

I know the problems have been chalked up to people being noobs, but most people that do tutorials are noobs. I think that since so many people are having a problem at the exact same point, this is beginning to sound like a tutorial problem to me....not a noob problem. If people can't follow the tutorial, that tells me the tutorial might need tweeking. Talking with each person experiencing a problem might help in determining where to begin on the rewrites, because apparently something is not clear.

Thát is exactly the problem... I'm getting questions about every part of the tutorial. And those are all just the basics. For instance I just got one about how to use guides...
If I need to rewrite the parts that some of the people don't understand or can manage to do I need to rewrite the entire tut.

I'm pretty much helping them out through msn... I probably need to redirect them all to my msn instead of the forums... keeps the forums clear...

And maybe it would be nice to have a sticky on top of the forum for the fire tut until most of the noobs stop posting... Keeps the forums a bit cleaner
