Editing multiple images at the same time

Hi,

I am new to the forum and new to photoshop and looking for some advice.

I have just started up my first website and I have been trying to take multiple images of each of my products on a tripod showing the small adjustments the product can make. The problem I am having is the colour of my products are not coming out as they should. I can adjust the colour to get it right one picture at a time in photoshop CS4 but when it comes to adjusting the colour of the second picture I am finding it really difficult to get it to the same shade of colour as the first.

Is there anyway I could line 3 or 4 images up and adjust the colour of them all at the same time so all the colours stay the same.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Hi there and welcome to BioRUST.

The best Photoshop tool for what you're trying to do is the Match Color command.

Here are some tutorials to get you started:

Thanks for the links. I have looked at match colour on youtube videos but I don't this method is suitable for what I'm trying to do.

Below are a couple of pictures that I am using. The first one is modified in photoshop to get the proper colour. The second one is the raw picture from the camera. The only difference between the two photos is the head rest is slightly higher in the second photo. We are trying to show the different height adjustments in a slideshow which is why we need to match the colours exactly.

The camera I have used is a Canon EOS 450D. As you can see we are not expert photographers!

Thanks,
Kerri

Could you use just the color adjusted one and raise/lower the headrest in Photoshop?

As one of Tamlins links above mentioned, the match colour filter doesn't work as well as it perhaps should.
But, as the differences between the pictures are so small, I just copied and pasted the first image into the second and made an animated gif

I was trying to make a more funny ending but have no time now, if you have any questions you are welcome!
