saving imageready file

hey guys im tryin to make an animated gif and im using imageready...i got everything worked out and all i have to do is save it but when i go to save optimized as it doesnt let me choose gif...only psd html/images jpg and just html....what do i do to save it? thx guys for the help

Look in the 'optimize' dialog and change the format to .GIF - you should now be able to save optimized gif images. Yup, its that easy....

hey man i still cant find any dialog box or anything....i click save opimzed as and it only gives me the opion to save in jpg html/images and just plain html idk what im missin...if possible can either someone talk to me on aim or can someone maybe take a screenshot?

I would just erase my preferences on start up. You can do that by holding down "Ctrl-Alt-Shift" IMMEDIATELY after starting the program. You should get a dialog box asking to confirm if you did it correctly.

Of course it could be the fact that you have multiple slices in your image. Get rid of them all and see if that helps.

Oh yeah, and a minor point of clarification... It's the "optimize" palette, not dialog box... that's why he might be getting confused.

yup i found it....i was lookin in the box after u click save opimized as but i was lookin on google and i found a screeny of a way to save and i got it...thx
