Industrial Lines

Can anybody tell me how or show me how (even better) to make the industrial lines shown in this tutorial? BioRUST.com :: Tutorials >> Thick Diagonal Lines

Also, can anybody tell me how to make the sparks in this tutorial? BioRUST.com :: Tutorials >> Laser-Cut Metal

At the moment most of my work is done through using tutorials as I am not very profficient at using Photoshop's functionality yet.

Thanks for the help.

hey fluff,

for the industrial lines try this tutorial from biorust's tutorial section

for the sparks, he mentioned using the brushes available in the biorust's brushes section.

I used some of the sparkle brushes that can be found in the Biorust Graphic Resources. Just experiment a bit with different versions and you'll get the hang of it soon enough.

I think I have the right brush, but obviously I don't want it to look flat, I want it to glow. I know how to use the inner and outer glow, but not really to get a glowing hot metal spark.

Also, any advice on how to make the industrial lines look like they are taped on, I have a rusty metal plate and I want to make some writing out of the industrial lines that looks like tape.
