it looks pretty cool...my suggestion would be to have a faded transition between the two, instead of just an abrupt stop. know what i mean?

i know how you could fade it.
put them on seperate layers, and on the top one, create a mask. then using the gradient tool at linear, spread it accross the mask.

you could also do with a nice frame :]
