Well i've been messing around with photshop to night got a lovely image from here and was messing with it in photoshop!

Well this is what i've come up with all it was easy to do but it's not finshed! Not sure what to do next with it! I can't do the same on both sides of the face I'm not that tallented may do more around the lips

anyway what do you guys think??

I've seen lots of variations around this theme and they always come out looking really good. I can't wait to see the final version!

Although it looks, to me, a little flat. Maybe make some light\darkness variations to give perception of depth?
