can anyone help me in creating "B" in photoshop with Blue/white shades more of Blue

I want to create "B" (big B,fancy B) in photoshop with Blue shade... I would appreciate if anyone can help or suggest some idea how can I start doing that... I want to make a logo for "Blue Book(thats my project name)"... so was thinking of creating a big B which can be shared by "B"LUE and "B"OOK...

Thanks in advance,
Shraddha

can you tell us more about the project?

the style, feel, atmosphere, etc that you want to convey to people when they see your B

also what is your project about... so we start in the right direction.

Wouldn't want a fancy sci-fi B if it's an earthy B or a fantasy B or a children's B if you know what i mean.

Hey thanx for taking the interest in it..

Yes sure.. Well It's a big project includes many aspects of the industry... Hardware aging, backup, database and many more modules will be there... I want "BLUE BOOK" logo,... where I thought of sharing a B and thn will write LUE up and OOK down and both will share B... but you have a better idea of writing blue book you are most welcome.... My background is blue and white and because of white it doesnt look that fancy so I want Logo to be very attractive... More of blue color and white shades or say gray shade if you like... color I used is #396c96 with white and light blue in gradient effect... thats how my website's background is... I am sure you must have some other questions too but I am afraid I couldnt answer you properly...ask me specific question that you may have I will be more specific in answering thn... well children B NEVER because it is a commercial website so Professional yet attractive...

I liked the "O" its simple yet attractive... and if you can give a glance of book(i mean book rings like effect in a logo) would be awesome...

THANKS A TON and hope to hear from you soon..

I think i would have to go for a quite clean look for the web site and a logo that goes together with the name (so probably a blue book for a logo). Some nice garients for both the website and the logo and many pictures in the webiste text area.

Hey shraddhs:

I think the best way to get the ball rolling is for you to just do up a few concepts.
and from there the community can help you out and help guide you into something that will work best for you.
