An animation, help...

Ok, i noticed this sig, and the effect is awesome, i've been trying to do something like this for ages and can't figure it out. Can anyone help? I want a water effect like this:

well i would take the layer that you want affected by the water...

and duplicate it a whole bunch of times.

and apply the filter>distort>ocean ripple to it (please note that it doesn't have to be ocean ripple, it can be glass or whatever else you want.)

for hte setting you will have to set it up until it looks good for you.


Once you get the look you are happy with. Click ok.

Now go to your 2nd duplicated layer. and go back into that filter. and click the randomize button. click okay..

3rd layer, ...filter...randomize...okay

and so on so forth.

I hope this helps... if not, then maybe I'll write up a tutorial quickly with some screenshots etc
