free photoshop 5 goodies?

Im looking for some free brushes and plug-ins for photoshop 5.0

If anyone has any links or suggestions Id appreciate them greatly.

Have you tried using any brushes or plugins made for higher versions of Adobe Photoshop?

Here's a link to some brushes that might be of use. I did a quick google search, so I can't guarantee they're compatible. Hope this helps.

Hey Phoenix,

Thanks for the link, I found a couple on there earlier today actually. Ive found that alot of plugins for the newer versions work well but the brushes is what Im having a problem with. Again, thanks for the quick response, if you have any extra help Id appreciate it.

Check out deviantART - some members include image packs for lower versions of Photoshop, like this one: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/... on deviantART.

There are other sites like this one that give you the option to download brushes or image packs.

You will really have to dig deep to find some PS5 plugins and brushes. This is mainly due to the lack of an online community around the time PS5 was mainstream. Back in the dialup days and older when the net was just becomming popular PS7 was the main source of community plugins. The best thing to do is at least upgrade to PS7, where you'll find slightly more goodies for you to play around with.

If I find anything worthy on my travels for 10-12 year old versions of Photoshop I'll link you up on this thread. But an upgrade is very highly recommend
