How can i make this gold or bling in photo shop

I found a couple of tutorials that could be what you are looking for

The easiest and most straight foward I would think would be the final one with the clipping mask using a metalic, gold, or bling looking gradient underneath

Whats the short cut keys to get the marching ants to select it all? I for get........lol

Ctrl+A will select a whole layer.

Ctrl+click on a layer's thumbnail will select everything that isn't transparent on that layer.
