LeahLovely, check out the 2 sites below, all the info you need is there. Please remember sometimes brushes will work only in a particular version of PS. Some brushes that work in Elements will not work in PS v. 7, CS, CS2. Follow the directions, they are laid out real well and easy to follow. YOu can do it!

hi Leahlovley,
Im only a newby myself, but I hope I can describe it so it sounds clear enough to us trainees..

firstly i used to make the mistake of trying to load in the zipped file.. Im not sure if anyone else would have been so silly, lol, but i thought i mention it just in case Im not the only one.

As Bedlam has already said there are times when some brushes and filters wont work with your particular version..

but here is a little step by step anyway..

after downloading the brush, unzipped if zipped extract the file straight into photoshop

Photoshop is closed....located the file location in your hard drive.. this is one case when the most suitable location for downloaded files is not always automatically chosen for you..
to find the file click -my computer-select c drive- open program files-open adode- open photoshop- (for brushes) open presets-open brushes...

this is the place you want to extract your brushes too.. ( you may also try coppy and paste of the required brushes into this now open directory..),

next time you open photoshop to change to your new brushes, click the brush icon on the top tool bar click the ">>> "in the top right hand corner and an option will pop out. your new bruses should be in there somewhere

I hope this helps..lol, it is a lot easier done than it is say..

Installing photoshop brushes. Just unzip it to a brush folder then open photoshop up

Click on EDIT>SCROLL TO PRESET MANAGER>PRESET TYPE BRUSH>LOAD BRUSH .ABR FILE

always loads your brushes thru the manager. Don't install it directly and unzip it to the Adobe.
