Music in sig?

How do u put audio playing in your sign on forums?

For example u have a lightning in sig and u want when someone scrolls on your sig to make a sound of thunder?

I know, but im asking how to make that, not to use one here. It was a friend request, they have one noob forums and do stuff like that :P

You'd probably have to insert some kind of Flash object into your sig for that to work, then. It might be doable in PHP, but I don't have any experience of that.

You could likely achieve it using Java Script too... by creating an onMouseOver action that links to a remotely stored flash object.... Assuming of course that the forum does not allow your sig to be flash in the first place.

If you've seen it in practice, i'd suggest it is more than likely a facility of the forum script than a user solution. The amount of work involved compared to the reality that 99% of boards will likely ban you for doing it does seem to justify the effort.

If you do find a way though, feel free to let me know... But please... DON'T post such a sig here...
