Resizing a group or folder of images at once

Please someone if you can help.

I am a film photographer moving over to digital. I current am on assignment doing 360 degree Panos. Here's my question.

How can I take the entire folder of images and resize as a group and not each indiviual image? There most be a way to resize them all at once?

HELP???
Thank you very much.

Hi Tom and welcome to BioRUST (and the wonderful world of digital!). In answer to your question - the easiest way to achieve your aim is to use Photoshop's batch processing facility. These two links explain the process a lot more clearly than I ever could:

Batch Processing in Adobe Photoshop (written for the Mac, but the process is the same in Windows)

Photoshop Action and Batch to resize images - SitePoint Forums

Good luck!

See for batch processing (not only resizing but much more) the wellknown program Irfanview (free):
IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide

"file","batch conversion", check "advanced options", "use advanced options"

Maybe you will never use it but if you need it....

I second Arb's recommendation for Irfanview...

I do quite a few wedding shoots which requires me to produce hundreds of images in 3 or more size variations.. (Proofs, Masters, Web etc..)

IrfanView is my tool of choice.

Mike.
