CS2 or v7.0

Sorry if this question has already been asked before, but I'm reading so much about CS2. I already have v7.0 and I have got to grips with it quite well so far & am pretty impressed. however I would like to know if there is any point in me upgrading to CS2? (I know that CS3 is on the way but it's gonna be WAYYY to expensive!!!)

I would say there are excellent reasons to upgrade no matter what field you specialise in, although to my mind the major benefits of CS2 are aimed at photograph handling and manipulation. I find tools like Bridge and Camera RAW, and filters like Smart Sharpen absolutely indispensable.

However, here's the "definitive" answer from Adobe:
Image editing tools for photo retouching - digital photo software by Adobe

If you think you can make use of any or all of these features, then upgrade.

I'm curious what does CS2 run as far as the pricing goes?

I believe Photoshop CS2 by itself runs around $600 but it would be a lot more for the full suite of course.
