Photoshop Elements 5? Caution

Anyone considering PE5 update? Think hard, and check it out before you buy it. I upgraded from PE2 to PE3 last year and was amazed about the improvements. I just installed PE 5, and I'm amazed by the lack thereof.
The editor has no file browser, what were they thinking? When you begin to ad 3rd party add ons, you'd be amazed where you add them.
It does not support cmyk mode as I wondered about in a previous post.
It does have a feature called "Magic Extractor" to pull an object out of a one photo to put in another, which will be useful(if it works).
I guess the old saying "let the buyer beware" is still true.

As I understand it, Adobe is marketing Elements towards the average home user who wants to retouch their digital photos... Thus they opted for a file navigation system very similar to Google's Picasa rather than the standard file browser. A bit more heady but simpler for the average user...

I guess the old saying is true... "If you make it so simple even an idiot can use it, only an idiot will want to use it" (Please know I don't mean to call anybody an idiot.. it's just the way the saying is worded)

Thanks for the warning!

Mike.
