Photoshop Elements 4

Hi Everyone,

I am a beginner and this is my first posting, so please excuse if the answer is obvious to all you experts!

My problem is that suddenly my photos after being loaded from my camera do not appear in the organiser. I get a message telling me that all the photos are already in the organiser. They just don't appear.
