Do you mean on the theory of site design, or the actual coding (HTML, PHP, ASP, XML etc.)?

Send a message via MSN to ngz
Think he means he want to learn how to make a layout for a site...
If that is so, go visit good-tutorials.com and search for "Layout".

graphics...

i also thing that he means graphic design of websites. There are many sites about xhtml, css... but i barely found something about graphics. the only thing i have found was a book, written by Richard Wagner (wiley web design before and after). there are few tips about graphics.

How about Slicing Guide? By understanding how to slice a design, it will better help you in deciding how you will design your layout so slicing and coding will be a lot easier.
