How do i make my own pattern

Select, using the marquee tool (m), any area of an image.
Goto Edit->Define pattern
Give it a name you understand.
That pattern becomes instantly available in fill operations.
You can manage your patterns going to Edit-> Preset manager

hmm, now hte big question is how to make a good texture out of a pattern....
you see you can use the same technique for texturing one ground layer wich is a (metal) patern with on this al kind f logo's but to do this you must make the metal....how do you calll that, well seamless?? any help would be very nice.

It all depends on the size and the visible area of the texture.
when it cames to "big" pictures I allways use high quality reference pictures for the textures, instead of patterns.
One good place to start and here an even better one

i knew mayang.....
but i mean i got lots of small high quality textures that i make into one bigger one, and this bigger one should be tileble....if you understand what im mean.
