Question Getting a vector from a bitmap automatically?

Well, I'm trying to make a hoodie, and It would be best if I were to have a vector image instead of the bitmap I have. The problem lies not in the colors (there are only 3, red, white, and black), but in the getting of them. The image is about 2000x2000 px big, and I have no time to go ahead and use the pen tool to mark all the way around them, then make changes later to only hope it comes out right.

My question is this: Is there a way to make a vector automatically in a way similar to the magic wand tool that automatically selects colors? Or is there a way i can make a selection vectored?

Help appreciated

I've really no idea - I don't do much with vectors. I know you can convert a selection to a path, but where you'd go from there I don't know. Maybe one of the Illustrator/vector graphics experts here can help?

Adobe Illustrator CS2 has this function built into it. It is a rather expensive solution but is very easy to use. You can download a free fully functioning trial version which expires in 30 days. convert as many bitmaps to vector as you can in 30 days.
