1. An Action in Photoshop a way of automatically applying a technique to an image using a pre-recorded series of commands. You can record any series of commands and save them as an Action - similar to recording a macro in Excel. You can even assign an Action to a shortcut key, and then "replay" the commands whenever you need them.

2. If you open your GIF in ImageReady, you can select the File > Save Optimized option, or in Photoshop you can use File > Save For Web.

3. Not sure what brush that is, but there are lots of brushes here in the Resources section.

4. Once you've optimized your GIF, you can use it in a signature by clicking the User CP option near the top of the screen. This will take you to the User Control Panel. Click the link marked Edit Signature in the lefthand menu. You will then see a standard input box with a button to insert an image.

Hope this helps.

Oh - now I understand. Sorry.

I'm afraid I have no idea how you embed an animated GIF in a static one. I'm guessing you would have to merge the two files somehow, and that ImageReady would probably be the tool to use, but beyond that I haven't a clue. I can't see it being a thing I'd ever want to do. Maybe someone else here, with more experience in ImageReady, will be able to help you - or try Googling "merging animated gifs".

i dont think that u embed a gif..
is a gif..with a small section animated...
then another section..etc..
like any other gif..may be is more complex to do it
because it needs a lot of frames..

to make a movie in a static .gif take the movie gif file and enlarge the canvas to the static image size drag the static gif over to the animated gif file and set it as the top layer. erase the part of that layer that you want to have the movie show through and make sure it is visible on every frame.
