biorust download

hey guys im running photoshop 7 and i downloaded these baltics sea glass layer sets from the resource center on the site i installed them the same way i installed the brush sets and gradient sets i got from you guys but the layer ones dont seem to be working when i load the photoshop i cant find them i think i may have installed wrong i was hoping someone could offer some advice on this or maybe some instructions on how to install the layers sets i liked the look of them and would really like to try them out but im getting nowhere i have had the program a while but am only learning just recently through your site that i can actually add things to it so i would appreciate any thoughts and help you could offer. thanks so much.

Did you put them in the Styles folder? (For PS7, the default path would be C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Styles)
Also, if you had Photoshop open when you downloaded them, you'll need to close and re-open the program before it can "see" the new styles.

ok i added them to the styles folder but when i loaded the photoshop i still couldnt find them they should be under layer/layer styles right?

No, you need to open the Styles menu. Do this:

In the Color/Swatches/Styles palette group (usually on the right side of the screen), make sure that the Styles palette is at the front. Click on the Styles tab if it isn't.

Click the button to open the Styles menu - it's the little black triangle - and select your chosen Style from the menu. This is where your downloaded styles will be listed if you have put them in the default location. If they're somewhere else, you'll need to select the Load Styles... option and browse for them.

When you choose a style, you will see a dialog box asking if you want to replace the current style. Click OK to load the new style (you can also choose to Append the new style to the current set).

thanks so much they were exactly where you said they would be i was just looking in the wrong place the whole time lol im new to the whole idea of being able to add to the program not just creat with it lol but at least im learning lol thanks again
