looking for a pom pom brush

im trying to make fur brush/texture that when applied to a building block can be layered and fanned 180 degrees ( imagine a book opened with front & back meeting and all the pages are equal. The pages will be the 'blocks' that my fur brush will be applied to and if i create enough 'pages' or building blocks it creates a spikey edge which will look like textured fur

Its not for use in a 3D program but rather for building in a virtual world with prims or blocks that can be flattened and shaped and linked together.

Hard to describe but in short it would be sorta a solid mass in the centre with softish spikes coming from it all the way round...kinda like a spikey pom pom flattened.

So any brushes with stars or spikey balls would prolly work

I dont know where to begin looking under what name?

Any ideas?

I think one of the default Photoshop brushes might work for you... it's in there somewhere...
