I couldn't find vintage swirl brushes but you might be interested in the following brushes:
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/21117055 and http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/12930643/ and http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/19696659/ are all brushes made by scully at deviant art. She has a variety of interesting brushes in her gallery at http://scully7491.deviantart.com/ if you have some free time to search through it. Another possibility is Luana Silense leavy things borders at http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/1945520/.
If none of them are suitable there’s a good brush search place at
http://veredgf.fredfarm.com/vbrush/main.html. click on brush search engine, it’ll link you to a site where you can choose brushes for different versions of Photoshop (don't know if they'll have what you're looking for though). Good luck with finding what you need!

I did a quick scan, and I didn't see anything that sounded like what you were describing, but you might want to check out http://share.studio.adobe.com. They have many brushes, actions, etc. Maybe you will find something there that will work.

Good Luck!
