Rotating 3-D Logos (Need Help!)

I recently made one of those 3-D logos, where you duplicate the layer over and over to get the 3-D effect. Now I would like to make it spin. I'm pretty sure i've seen a tutorial for this, because I remember part of how to do it. The thing I am missing is how to make an animated rotation in imageready. I know its possible becuase I have done it before, but I can't figure it out. I know there is a way to do it with tweening. If you guys could give me some tips it would be greatly appreciated.

When I did the gear that is my avatar, I used www.thewebmachine.com to learn from.
If you go to the Imageready section and select the very last tutorial in the list ("3D Animation") it will show you how to give things the spinning effect... I believe that's what you're looking for?

to have a really good spinning 3d effect you are going to have to use a 3d modeller, since that photoshop is truly only for 2d works. I know it can be done in photoshop. On a 3d modeller it would take about 5 minutes. In photoshop it would probably take a whole life time.

Yeah, I use Photoshop for only 2D art and webdesign. 5-0 has a good point there.

yep sure they can, thats really what they were invented for. Most adverts on tv that are promoting products are actually 3d models.

Ahh... so thats where the real money is! Well i'm turning off the avatar until I have a chance to improve it. This has been a fun excursion into the world of imageready.

PostScript ~ What 3-D program do you guys recommend? I havn't heard of too many... 3DSMax, and uh... 3DSMax.
