Well obviously I have to pull for the US. It might be a bit to ask for them to have a chance to win, especially with all the injury concerns. But they won't go lightly either!!

last i heard US was ranked really high, which still surprises me....

as for the original poster, LOVE the first picture, i could really see if being a poster promoting the sport. Wish it could be a wallpaper even

They've (the US) really been building quite a team. Soccer's no longer a 3rd rate sport in this country. I think they do have a very good chance of making it through this round, and with every win, there's another little soccer player in the making at home planning to play in the world cup someday. You can definitely see a difference over the past 8-12 years in the way the US has played. A lot has to do with the increased TV coverage.
