Problem with uploading fonts

I'm not sure how I am suppose to upload a new font I downloaded...

I have photoshop elements, If that helps you any.

I just don't now what to do.

Now, this may work differently for some people, but this is how I do it...

When you download a font, open it with winzip and then get your control panel open, there should be a fonts folder in there. Since the folder tends to not show up when you use the extract option, you have to manually drag the font file from the WinZip window to your fonts folder and it is installed.

This is how it works for me... try it out, and if it doesn't work, I am not sure what to do! ><

If you want to use a font(in any program as far as I know) you just need to put the font file into your "*main drive letter(usually C)*:\Windows\Fonts" folder(if you're running Windows). It should then appear in your fonts list. I'm not sure if it's any different in Elements though.

Yeah, for the most part, you need to do it manually...force the font to be in there...

I just had to do that after downloading a few fonts.
