i believe you need to create the image in PS then import it into image ready where you can slice it up and useing the functions in IR to create menus etc

i always use imageready for my webpages. it also has rollover effects, click, and mouseout effects, which would make the elegance that you want. i would suggest making anything things appear at a medium speed, and have them dissapear a little bit slower. if you need help, just ask me.

ive never used image ready, well i take that back, ive only saved images in there.. so would the image have to be loaded before i could take a look at the type of effects they have? probably but i thought id ask anyways.. or could i just take a look at what they are.. and where could i find these effects?

I suggest making the menu in PS then importing it to Imageready which has features that let you make hover over images and more.
