searching for textures

I want to make some metal textures for my 3d pictures(so they must be very universal and it must be like tiles too), and they must be like metal that's has been used in a war or someting like that no bullet holes but scraches and rust. so if you could help please

There are a lot of free textures (including metals) available at:
http://www.planit3d.com

It's mainly a 3D website so the textures are geared toward that use.

that's true but the problem with those site's is that you get a pattern like 1 times the same scratch on the same car so that is not so nice, but i can modify those textures. i just hoped i could one day make them myself so i don't have to search 6 different textures with different scratches and the same color
