Question Traffic Light - Need Some Help

I am currently working on an ad campaign where I am superimposing my company's logo on textures or objects that are commonly found in the urban landscape. I want to make a traffic light where the light is glowing behind a screen of our logo, i.e. a traffic signal for right turns, bikes, etc. I have attached a .jpeg of the green light I have done. It is alright, but missing the realism that I want. If anyone knows of any tutorials about creating lights, please let me know. Thanks for any help!

Do you just want to make the light from scratch or from a photo?

Well, the ads are going to be used commercially, so the options are 1) pay for an image or 2) create it myself. Our budget is still not quite accessible and I am flat broke, so 1 is not really an option. I browsed around morguefile.com, but couldn't really find any good free shots. Hence, I was trying to create it myself.

You still haven't really answered my question. Do you want it to be from a photo or not?
If so you could easily just get a digital camera and take a photo of a traffic light.

No offence but... what? That didn't really make any sense.

We have a digital camera, alas my damned border collie chewed through the USB cord! My fiance and I have put (literally) every penny we have into starting up our company and cannot even afford to go get a new cable! If you would like to donate a quality picture of a traffic light, that would be fantastic =D

I get it now.

And I may be able to get a pic of a traffic light... maybe I'll try and take one soon.

Let's see ... setting up a tripod in the middle of the street, possibly on top of a truck (for the correct angle), hoping it's not too windy, and assuming the local law enforcement doesn't mind. Yup, that's a good idea.

Thanks Tyty. That's pretty much exactly what I am looking for.

Sad as it is to say, $1 is out of my price range!

Well if you're in the right area here in New Zealand then you could get a pretty good pic. The traffic lights aren't too high here... and some streets are pretty empty too.
